About Me
My name is Welly Serly Kristina
Manufandu. I was born in Jayapura, July
27, 1980. I graduated from the Training Indonesians for Transition to
Institutional Programs (TITIP) School in Sentani, Papua. Before entering TITIP,
I graduated from Papua University in Manokwari, West Papua. I also got a
practicum about Coastal Management on Bunaken Island in Sulawesi (near Manado).
I am interested in environmental service management. I’ve been a freelance travel guide for many years. Before becoming a tourist guide, I was an instructor for first aid and Disaster Preparedness in Jayapura, Papua. I really enjoy my job because of the challenges.
All tribes in Papua are interesting places to visit. Many different cultural traditions and more than 250 languages. There are not only different cultural traditions within the social life and languages but also many interesting, unique things that are sometimes unknown. For example; trekking in the Highlands with its great landscapes and birding spots, insects and butterflies in the rain forests and swamps. Also coastal areas have rich species of fish and coral reefs for diving.
